About Stevie

Stevie Keith is a lifelong Plymouth resident, small business owner, former U.S. Army Captain, and father who believes local government works best when it is practical, transparent, and rooted in service to the community.

Roots in Plymouth & Military Service

Stevie moved to Plymouth at the age of seven when his family settled in South Plymouth in 1995. He is a graduate of Plymouth South High School and its Technical Studies program, where he studied Marketing Education. After high school, Stevie attended Norwich University—the Military College of Vermont—where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduation.

Stevie served for more than a decade in the Army, rising to the rank of Captain. His service included deployments to Afghanistan, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, and New York City during the COVID-19 crisis. These experiences shaped a leadership style grounded in accountability, teamwork, and calm decision-making under pressure.

His military decorations include three Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement Medals, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. Stevie is also a member of the Honorable Order of St. Christopher and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Small Business Leadership & the Trades

After returning home to Plymouth, Stevie co-founded Keith Brothers Plumbing, Inc. with his brother Chris. Since launching in 2019, the locally owned plumbing and heating company has grown steadily and now employs nine full-time workers who earn living wages and benefits. Under Stevie’s leadership, the company has built a reputation not only for quality workmanship, but for treating employees and customers with fairness and respect.

Stevie understands firsthand the challenges facing small businesses today—from workforce shortages and rising costs to permitting delays and regulatory uncertainty. That real-world experience informs his approach to public service.

In support of developing and protecting the skilled trades, Stevie and Chris helped establish a local Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors chapter. The chapter provides networking, professional development, and an open forum connecting tradespeople, industry experts, and local leaders throughout the Plymouth area.

Commitment to Community & Service

Stevie is deeply committed to giving back to the community that raised him. Through Keith Brothers Plumbing and volunteer leadership, he has helped direct nearly $100,000 toward local charitable efforts, supported food insecurity initiatives, and organized programs that strengthen veterans and small business owners.

While he prefers to keep charity work low-profile, Stevie believes strongly that businesses and residents share a responsibility to support their neighbors and invest in Plymouth’s future. In recognition of this work, Stevie received the 2025 Vinny deMacedo Small Business Award and Grant from the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.

In 2025, Stevie and his wife Megan founded the 5 Gallon Challenge Foundation, a grassroots food drive using five-gallon buckets as a simple, powerful way to collect donations. Since November 2024, the foundation has distributed more than 24,000 pounds of food, water, women’s health products, diapers, and baby wipes, along with $1,500 in direct support to local food banks.

Education & Civic Leadership

Stevie holds a Master of Business Administration from UMass Boston and was awarded the Mark E. Atkins ’71 Dean’s Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship. He serves in civic and nonprofit leadership roles, including the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, where he advocates for sustainable economic growth and responsible development.

Family & Why He’s Running

Stevie and his wife Megan are raising their two young children in Plymouth, the town they proudly call home. Like many local families, they care deeply about strong schools, housing affordability, reliable infrastructure, public safety, food security, and preserving Plymouth’s character while planning responsibly for growth.

Stevie is running for local office because he believes Plymouth deserves steady, thoughtful leadership focused on results—not politics. His approach is straightforward: listen first, use data and lived experience to guide decisions, protect taxpayers, support working families and small businesses, and plan responsibly for the future.

At its core, Stevie believes public service is about stewardship—leaving Plymouth stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the next generation.
